This is a temporary position, working Tuesday through Thursday (1:30 pm to 8:00 pm) and Saturday and Sunday (11:30 pm to 5:00 pm)

Qualifications

Position Overview:

Our Hostesses are our first point of contact for our customers and as such responsible for providing consistently high levels of customer service to all clients who visit our Showhomes. The hostesses perform day- to-day duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times and ensure that the client has an enjoyable Showhome experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming clients in a warm and friendly way
  • Answer any basic questions clients may have
  • Redirecting questions to Sales Associates and Area Sales Managers
  • Cleaning and tidying the sales centers; keeping the Showhome in excellent condition at all the time
  • Answering phone calls and taking accurate notes of any inquiries
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Strong customer service and trouble shooting skills
  • Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Sales Administration and Accents Design Manager, the successful candidate will lead clients through the interior selection process for their new home. The ability to recommend products and finishes based on specific needs and wants while remaining within the client's budget is essential. Supplier visits will be required dependant on individual files. Efficient management of all correspondence between inter-office departments, field staff and the customer is essential.

This individual is a team player with a strong work ethic, excellent communication and writing skills and is well-versed in all aspects of interior design. This highly organized and efficient person will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy having a diverse "to do" list.

Qualifications and Experience

We are currently recruiting for a: Director of Sales and Business Development - Trico Communities

This is a full time, permanent position

Qualifications

Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for the direction of business development within Trico Communities and will hold direct responsibility for the establishment of productive and profitable relationships with external individuals and organizations. Key elements of employment will include the assessment of operational issues regarding competitiveness, the ability to stay current in trends and innovations that impact Trico Communities' interests, and the thorough review of research, feasibility studies and business plans for the improvement, development and customization of Multi Family products.

In addition, this position is directly responsible for driving Multi Family sales. This individual achieves quarterly/annual sales goals, develops distribution channels, builds strategic business relationships, and provides vision for all sales strategies and their execution. This position is also responsible for containing the costs of selling in order to achieve predetermined profit yields. She/he collaborates with the Trico Group Marketing Department to promote all Trico Community products, services, images and mission statements.

Job Duties:

Business Development

  • Oversee the development of Multi Family business opportunities; maintain and cultivate relationships with potential stakeholders, strategic partners and upper level decision makers.
  • Implement strategic planning including corporate positioning market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.
  • Work with the President and the other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances, and network effectively in efforts to increase the visibility of the Multi Family department and create appropriate strategies to ensure competitive edge
  • Review research, feasibility studies and business plans to develop strategies for the improvement, development and customization of Multi Family products
  • Create product segmentation strategies where needed to maximize business opportunities across various sales channels.
  • Assess operational issues in regards to competitiveness, staying current in terms of current trends and innovations.
  • Stay up to date with external and internal developments in the environment for identifying new market segments.
  • Other duties as required.

Sales

  • Assume overall responsibility for sales functions within Trico Communities
  • Develop, administer and maintain a comprehensive sales program that ensures continued growth and industry leadership.
  • Provide vision and leadership that encourages growth and safeguards the assets and financial viability of the company.
  • Demonstrate and encourage teamwork and cooperation with all staff and departments within Trico
  • Work with senior management and accounting staff to establish annual sales and expense budgets.
  • Provide written and verbal reports on sales activities in all locations on an ongoing basis and other written reports as requested from time to time.
  • Establish, with the assistance of the President, certain performance goals such as sales, profit margins and expense ratios.
  • Oversee product management including market and customer research for market and product requirements, interface with the design department for product development, product pricing and product lifecycle management.
  • Develop and manage Trico Communities' sales budget.
  • Devise and deploy all sales goals and objectives across the department, including the preparation of sales quotas and budgets.
  • Integrate and align sales strategies with available talent, processes, IT systems, and other areas to increase sales force capability and success.
  • Develop and implement quarterly and/or annual sales plans, policies, and programs for all sales managers.
  • Create training and development plans for sales managers.
  • Conduct analysis to manage sales and marketing performance against corporate objectives and market developments.
  • Conduct regular analysis on pricing effectiveness and recurring trends; create actionable item lists based on findings.
  • Be a role model for the company culture
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree
  • A minimum of 10 years sales and business development experience in comparable industries with 3 years in a senior management and sales position.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team oriented environment.
  • Experience in choosing, deploying, and using sales applications.
  • Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business (competitive) strategy.
  • Extremely effective public speaking skills and presence.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
