We are currently recruiting for a talented, professional and motivated Marketing and Social Media Specialist!

This is a full time, permanent position.

Qualifications

Position Overview:

Reporting to our Marketing Manager, you will assist in the development and coordination of Trico's marketing and social media initiatives, which include the social media calendar, copywriting, proposal & speech writing, coordinating creative with the design team and supporting the rollout of all marketing campaigns and programs.

Strategic marketing support-assisting in social media content development and execution, research, analysis, writing, editing, and timely delivery of Trico Homes' communication initiatives targeting internal and/or external audiences.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, schedule, and maintain ongoing content for all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest)
  • Create social media calendar and meet posting commitments for each channel
  • Monitor and respond to follower comments, posts, and inquiries.
  • Follow protocols for responding to negative posts by first informing and consulting with managers and then provide quick responses and follow up
  • Develop content for inbound marketing initiatives
  • Assist with market research initiatives to gather market intelligence including survey design and reporting
  • Write blog posts and coordinate additional content from guest writers
  • Prepare proposals by determining concept; researching & gathering information; writing & editing drafts; obtaining approvals
  • Prepare speeches by determining concept; researching & gathering information; writing & editing drafts; obtaining approvals
  • Write copy for model brochures, point of sale materials, website, email marketing, print ads, video and radio scripts
  • Proofread & manage approval process with all departments and executives
  • Assist in all aspects of advertising campaigns including concept development, design, approval, and coordination of suppliers
  • Research and keep abreast of new online marketing channels and strategies and bring forward to the team
  • Maintain & distribute status reports to Marketing Manager
  • Attend meetings and events both inside and outside the company as necessary
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Marketing Manager, VP Marketing and other Executive Management requests
  • Attend committee meetings as required
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Qualities & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English literature, marketing, communications or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on writing & marketing/communications
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications, database applications, content management systems, Survey Monkey, Fluid, Hootsuite or other social media applications
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and quality standards
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills necessary, as well as experience writing advertising copy and scripts

We are currently hiring talented and motivated Sales Associates and will be granting the opportunity to the strongest candidate we interview.  This position is a launching point to a rewarding career in new home sales and will be accompanied by a personal development plan to become an Area Sales Manager in Calgary or Area. This is a rewarding position earning commissions of over $150,000.00 annually (based on historic compensation).

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Area Sales Manager to achieve sales goals and business objectives;
  • Provide consistent support to manage customer expectations and foster the customer relationship through the purchase experience and building process;
  • Organize and complete all necessary paperwork and ensure the accuracy and maintenance of customer files;
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and quality within sales centre and the presentation of signage and marketing materials;
  • Respond quickly to customer concerns and the coordination of information or solutions to apparent challenges;
  • Acquire customer registrations and manage lead records within a database.

Qualities & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience (preferably in new home sales) with a strong desire for a career in new home sales;
  • Completion of a four year university degree is preferred;
  • Ambitious and driven;
  • A polished professional;
  • An interest to complete work with precision and excellence;
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on time and with accuracy;
  • Ownership thinking and a sense of urgency;
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organization skills while working with official documents and correspondence;
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with applications including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and the internet;
  • Passion for learning and a willingness to complete the provided training and utilize available development tools;
  • A strong moral charter and a team oriented perspective;
  • Available to work a demanding schedule, including evenings and weekends.
